Alice's Pantry Food Drive
In conjunction with Kenwood UMC (just down the road from the Elmont Community Center), we are partnering to collect food donations of canned and boxed goods to help those in need in our Elmont community. No glass containers please.

About our Brunswick Stew Fundraiser
The Elmont Ruritan Club has held its annual stew for over 50 years as one of its primary fundraisers. Stew preparation starts about a week or so prior with ordering all of the ingredients based off of our pre-orders and adding roughly 10% extra for any add-on orders. Food prep starts the day prior and the main cook starts around 6am the day of the sale.
Elmont Ruritan uses these fundraiser proceeds to cover the cost, all other
proceeds go back into the community
through various programs such as our sponsorships for youth organizations like the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, FFA, and other community organizations including local food pantries, resident assistance programs and much more.
